Learn Colors

We are our children’s first teacher. Yes you can teach your child colors. Begin at the beginning. Say the color of each item of clothing as you are dressing your infant. Ask your toddler which color shirt they choose to wear. Make observations aloud. Comment on how blue the sky is or how green the grass is. Ask your child to smell a purple flower.

Printable Practice Writing Shapes Activity

Printable practice writing shapes activities embolden your child with the power of perspective. Encourage your child to go around the house finding the shapes. A door is a rectangle, a plate a circle, and such. Combine two activities in one. The tire on your car is a black circle. An octaganol stop sign is red. Have fun! Everyday and everything has learning value hiding within it.
