Printable Beyond Alphabet Flashcards

Printable “Beyond Alphabet Flashcards” uses an outside of the box thinking concept. Beyond alphabet flashcards were designed with a multi purpose use in mind. A standard deck of alphabet flashcards contains one of each letter. Beyond alphabet flashcards contains two of each letter. Flashcards containing both upper and lowercase letters do not reenforce reading concepts. Lowercase alphabet letters are the case everyone reads. How many times do I use uppercase letters in writing this blog? How many uppercase letters do you use in writing your name? Print out on card stock paper for durability. Have your child color the face, cut along the dotted lines, and decorate the backs. You could even laminate for greater strength. Children learn through play. Play “Go fish”,  “Memory” or “Build a word”.  It is very difficult to build words like “bib” or “pup” using a standard deck of alphabet flashcards.
