What is Socialism?

Kim Jong Eun

Kim Jong Eun Leader of North Korea

What is Socialism? Socialism is the dictatorial ownership of all resources. Governments of a Socialistic society are democratically ruled. Citizens of a Socialistic nation receive goods and services according to their needs. There is no need for money. Individuals have no ability or need for wealth. Everyone works to contribute to society for the common good of all. North Koreans do not have electricity in their homes and know no different. Many countries today are Democratic Socialist societies. The choice of the majority will determine the needs of all. These governments subsidize or partially control services and industries. Examples of industries are energy, manufacturing, education, healthcare and public transportation. Workers of these industries are paid by the government with taxpayer money. Democratic Socialistic societies need the populace to operate businesses, as long as it does not infringe upon the government, to provide the taxes. Socialism does have class divide, the ruling class and everyone else.
