Holiday Activities

Holidays are a great time to share activities with your children. You are enabled with the opportunity to share your family traditions and stories of the holidays. Many of the holidays have songs you can sing with your children as they traverse mazes or connect the dots. You could even make up stories to go along with the activity. Not only is coloring fun for our children, they develop such skills as hand-eye co-ordination, color concepts, and picture comprehension. Ask them questions about what they see going on in the activity. Have your child tell you a tale about the picture. Spark the magic of their imagination by going outside the lines of each activity.
